Tour Schedule
Day 1 – Kabul to Balkh
Transfer from Kabul International Airport to one of the hotels and considering the time our trip will start as soon as possible to leave Kabul for Balkh. After reaching Mazar-i-Sharif the capital of the province we will check into a hotel. The first place to visit in the city would be the Blue Mosque (the Shrine of Hazrat Ali, the fourth companion of Prophet Mohammad pbuh). It is very attractive for visitors from around the globe.
Day 2 – Ancient city of Balkh
The ancient city of Balkh is located about 23km outside Mazar-i-Sharif and is considered to be one of the oldest cities in the world. The ruins of the city include the remains of ancient palaces, temples, and fortifications. Tepe Rustam is an ancient fortress located just south of Mazar-i-Sharif province. It was built by Alexander the Great and is said to have been the site of his coronation as the King of Asia. Qala-e-Murghab is a 19th-century fort located in the heart of Mazar-i-Sharif. It was built by the ruler of the city at the time to protect against invading forces.
Day 3 – Balkh to Samangan
After breakfast, you will be accompanied by
our guide and driver to Ibak City, the provincial center of Samangan. In this
city, we have an important historical monument which is named Takh-e-Rustam. It
is a rock-curved structure on a low-elevation mountain. Considering the time
during our trip On the NH1 way to Kabul city our tourist guide will try his
best to have some stops for better sightseeing and a comfortable trip.
Day 4 – Samangan to Kabul
After you arrive in Kabul city and the hotel
for the last hours of your trip to Afghanistan, our tour guide will take you
sightseeing in Kabul city if a suitable gap between your arrival and the time
for the transfer to the airport occurs.
